AAC BEACH BONFIRE!!
Atlantic Alano Club’s annual beach party was its usual fun-filled sober get–together. First to arrive and set up the umbrellas and volleyball net were AAC Board Members Todd M. and Michael T.; John P., Hector, an Attitude Adjustment regular, and Dennis B., gathered from another AA group. Hector toted new grass-covered beach umbrellas (donated by Choices), and was overheard commenting, “I enjoy having a pick-up because I like to help people move.” Indeed, service abounded. Todd M., Ad Hoc Activities Director, planned and organized the whole event; Joey B. made multiple runs to and fro, mostly shuttling Choices residents; John P. made multiple lengthy treks to his far away parked car to replenish beverage supplies; Sean Z. purchased twenty tickets so that Choices residents could attend.

Todd and John observed what has become a post Sunday Attitude Adjustment meeting feature, the after-meeting beach run. A handful of other folk enjoyed the wetlands and its feathered fowl. The partiers played two spirited volley ball games and a couple of pick-up games. Many plunged into the waves, swimming, body surfing, boogie boarding, and ogling the surrounding tanned lovelies. Plentiful sunscreen was exceeded only by its many willing applicators. Approximately forty people attended throughout the day.
Annual Yard Sale

We are aiming for an annual rummage/yard sale towards the last weekend in September, so hang on to your junk/other man’s treasures to donate. Almost anything is welcome, but, when it comes to clothing, send only the most extra cherce duds, as they can pile up and lie there, not selling. This event is usually a rousing, fundraising event. Volunteers to work the event are also needed. Exact date and venue TBA.
The AAC Website Committee is proud to announce the remastering of the atlanticalano.info website.
The site promises new content, a professional-looking appearance, and a fun, family, and community theme
that will be resonated within the AAC membership.
