AAC Member Room and Coffee Bar Grand Opening

coffee-barOn April 30th, the Atlantic Alano Club welcomed its newest Board of Directors. In the past two weeks, each new board member has been hard at work getting acquainted with their new positions and responsibilities. With that, they have been organizing the club's involvement in the upcoming Long Beach Gay Pride Parade, and its coffee-barcommitment to the beverage/ticket sales at the festival. Each board member is reponsible to ensure they have at least a committee of 3 to work with them. The newest board members have been  forming their new committees to ensure they are in polace and available during Gay Pride.

With so much time required of each board member to ensure the success of the Club's involvement in Gay Pride, the board has decided to post-pone the Membership Room grand opening until the 4th of July weekend which begins on Friday, July 1, 2011. Therefore, our Grand Opening will be on ... Friday, July 1, 2011, at 6pm! 



Here are some of the exciting things to look for during our Grand Opening:

  • Fun times and camaraderie 
  • WiFi and High Speed Internet
  • Desktop computer avaiblable for member use at a nominal cost
  • Cable television with planned "movie nights" for members
  • Sundries, snacks, soda, and chips etc... for a nominal member donation
  • Your very own Atlantic Alano Club coffee mug with the option of your name and sobriety date engraved on your mug
  • Board Games
  • Fellowshipping
